Product Description

Tunnock's Dark Chocolate Tea Cakes (6 per pack) - 144g is a box of six Tunnock's Teacakes in dark chocolate - the same Italian meringue dome on a shortcake base, under plain chocolate instead of milk.

Product Highlights & Features

Dark, not milk: Plain chocolate cuts the sweetness of the meringue, which is why many people prefer this version once they have tried both.
Developed in 1956: Boyd Tunnock created the Teacake at the family bakery in Uddingston, where it is still made.
The foil: Dark chocolate teacakes come in gold and blue rather than the red and silver of the milk version.

About Tunnock's: Thomas Tunnock opened his bakery in Uddingston, Lanarkshire in December 1890, and the firm is still there and still family run. Boyd Tunnock developed the Teacake in 1956; the red-and-gold foil wrappers are among the most recognisable packaging in Scotland.

Just like in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last May our family traveled to Scotland. I had bought a package of the dark chocolate Tunnocks after reading about things to try in Scotland! They were delicious! Upon returning back home I realized I should have stashed a few boxes in my luggage. After a few attempts of trying to order from various online retailers with extremely high shipping rates I figured I might have to go back to Scotland for our Tunnocks! On a later search this website popped up and I ordered 2 boxes.
They arrived promptly and packaged with care! The Tea Cakes were exactly the same quality and delicious taste we had in Scotland! I will definitely order them again.

The best tea cakes ever

These are so delicious, I'm glad they're not too easily accessible tho lol! I love 'em! Gonna buy more for the holidays

Awesome!

Awesome!

Love em

The U.S. LOVES them.
