I've got a stubborn old curry stain on my favourite white shirt, will Dr. Beckmann stain removers actually work on something that old?

Dr. Beckmann's expert formulas are designed to tackle even tough, set-in stains. For old curry stains on white fabric, we recommend trying the Dr. Beckmann Power+ Stain Pen or the Dr. Beckmann Colour & Whites product. Always test on an inconspicuous area first and follow the product instructions carefully for best results.

Can I use Dr. Beckmann stain removers on delicate fabrics like silk or wool without damaging them?

It's important to always check the care label of your garment before using any stain remover. While many Dr. Beckmann products are safe for a variety of fabrics, some delicate materials like silk or wool may require specialised care. We suggest consulting the specific product information for the best fit or using our Dr. Beckmann Intensive Stain Remover, which is often suitable for a wider range of fabrics, but a patch test is always recommended on a hidden seam first.

What's the difference between the various Dr. Beckmann stain removers? Which one should I buy for general kitchen spills like red wine or grease?

Dr. Beckmann offers a range of specialized solutions. For general kitchen spills, the Dr. Beckmann Stain Devils range is excellent. For red wine and fruit juice stains, look for Stain Devils No. 1. For grease and oil stains, Stain Devils No. 2 is highly effective. If you have a mix of common household or food stains, the Dr. Beckmann Universal Stain Remover is a versatile option that tackles many everyday messes.
