Jacob's - Twiglets, Mini Cheddars and Cream Crackers

Twiglets are the most divisive snack in Britain: knobbly wheat sticks coated in yeast extract, so savoury they taste almost bitter. People who love them buy the caddy. People who do not are usually the ones who tried them expecting a pretzel.

In stock now: Twiglets Original 45g, Mini Cheddars Original Caddy 260g, Crinklys Cheese and Onion Caddy 200g, Cream Crackers No Added Sugar 200g, Savoury Favourites Cracker Assortment 200g and the Treeselets Caddy 280g.

Mini Cheddars are baked cheese biscuits, closer to a cracker than a crisp. Cream crackers exist to carry butter and cheddar and nothing else. The cracker assortments come out at Christmas next to the cheeseboard. Imported by us and shipped from Massachusetts.

Buy Jacob's Crackers and Snacks Online in the USA
The British savoury biscuit aisle has no real American equivalent. Crackers there are built for cheese rather than for soup, and the snack lines are yeasty and salty rather than sweetened. Jacob's sits at the centre of both.

Caddies, Bags and the Cheeseboard
Caddies are the large resealable tubs, better value and made for a household rather than a lunchbox. Small bags are for trying a line first, which is the sensible approach with Twiglets. The cracker assortments are bought for a cheeseboard, mostly between November and January.

FAQ

Q1: What are Twiglets?
Knobbly wheat snacks coated in yeast extract. Intensely savoury and closer to Marmite than to a pretzel.

Q2: What are Mini Cheddars?
Small baked biscuits made with cheese, eaten as a snack rather than with toppings.

Q3: What is a cream cracker?
A plain, dry, layered British cracker, eaten with butter and cheese. It contains no cream.
