Bird's - Custard Powder and Trifle Mixes from Britain

Ah, the classic Bird's Custard! To make it from the Original Custard Powder, you'll typically need to mix it with a little cold milk to form a smooth paste, then gradually whisk in hot milk and heat gently until it thickens. You'll also need to add sugar to your preference for sweetness. It's a lovely, hands-on way to get that authentic, creamy texture and flavour that many of us grew up with! Our Ready-Made Custard Pots offer ultimate convenience – just open and enjoy! They're perfect for a quick, single-serving dessert or to add a creamy topping to fruit or cake when you're short on time, though they do have their own set sweetness and texture.

Yes, Bird's Original Custard Powder is a fantastic base for many desserts! You can use it to make creamy fillings for trifles, tarts, or even as a base for cheesecakes. For a quicker dessert fix, our Bird's Angel Delight mixes are incredibly popular. The top-selling flavours usually include Butterscotch, Strawberry, and Chocolate – they whip up into a light and airy mousse-style dessert with just milk. They're designed for immediate enjoyment as a dessert on their own, often topped with fruit or sprinkles. Check the individual product pages for specific allergen information, as ingredients can vary by flavour.
