British Cutting Boards & UK Chopping Boards

Absolutely! Our British cutting boards are crafted from high-quality, durable hardwoods like oak and beech, commonly used in UK kitchens for their longevity and strength. They are designed to withstand the demands of everyday chopping, slicing, and dicing, making them perfect for all your food preparation tasks. The natural properties of these woods also help to preserve your knives' sharpness.

Caring for your British cutting board is simple. To maintain its beauty and performance, we recommend hand washing it with warm, soapy water after each use and drying it thoroughly. Avoid soaking the board or putting it in the dishwasher. For best results and to prevent drying or cracking, especially with the journey to the USA, oil your board periodically with a food-safe mineral oil or a specialized cutting board conditioner. This will keep the wood hydrated and looking its best for years.

Yes, many of our British cutting boards double beautifully as serving platters! Their rustic charm and attractive wood grain make them ideal for presenting cheeses, charcuterie, bread, or appetizers at your table. All our boards are made from natural, food-safe wood and are suitable for preparing and serving all types of ingredients, from meats and vegetables to fruits and baked goods. Just be sure to clean thoroughly between uses if switching from raw meats to ready-to-eat foods.
