PG Tips Tea - Loose Leaf - 250g - 8.8oz

This is the best English Breakfast tea I've ever had. The price was fantastic (less than eight bucks per box). I ordered two boxes of PG Tips loose-leaf tea, and they arrived slightly crumpled/dented but still sealed, so no problems. The only downside was that my order took 49 days to arrive, a full three weeks after Verified's expected arrival window had ended. Additionally, the seller, Tora Foods, didn't respond to either of my polite emails asking for an update. The "leaves" themselves look like tiny pellets rather than whole dry leaves. This translates to a much shorter steep time, only 30-45 seconds, to prevent a bitter flavor.Anyway, just know what you're in for:1) Best tea ever, no contest2) Fabulous price3) Takes almost two months to arrive4) Seller doesn't respond to questionsIf you're good with that, go ahead and order it, because it's the best.

Excellent experience! Started using PG tips loose leaf tea once they stopped making the pyramid bags (it is the closest thing I have found so far to the original taste). Will be buying from here again!

PG Tips Loose tea is just as good as the tea bags, loose tea is still always the best tea for me. Thanks.

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for.

I finally found a loose leaf tea I can rely on.

It’s difficult to find loose tea leaves in my area, so being able to buy them here is wonderful. This brand reminds me of my childhood- such a little vely and comforting flavour.

Pleasant flavor and good body. Worth buying again.

I ordered PG loose tea but received Yorkshire loose Tea, but this tea is so good.

Very nice. It was my Dad's favorite.

This is my everyday tea. I grew up on it. So it tastes like home... Grateful for British Food Supply! Love everything I've ever purchased this far.

This is my favorite tea. Doesn't need to brew as long as most (I brew for 4 minutes instead of 5), and takes less tea.

This tea tastes like home. I used to be able to get it at walfart but no more... Grateful to have found your company...!! Really love British Food Supply

If you want basic black tea, look no further. Perfect with your Digestives or a Sausage Roll. Great with savories. It's not going to wilt under the flavor profile of any strong foods. My fave basic black tea. For afternoon tea, or Masala Chai, I have other suggestions, but this is a home-run basic!

You can rely n PG Tips for a flavorful cuppa.

Great tea, great taste

This tea was recommended by my British colleague, who drinks it daily. I use loose tea in a ceramic teapot with a stainless steel filter basket. I probably don't follow best brewing practices according to the most staunch English tea drinkers, but I do believe my brewing setup is worlds better than teabags. My first observation is that this loose PG Tips looks unlike any loose-leaf tea I've ever seen. It's little "granules" with no resemblance to actual tea leaves. This surprised me. It must be highly processed. It almost resembles Lipton's instant iced tea, but of course it is much better quality and flavor than that.I was advised to only let it steep for about 2.5 minutes. I normally do ~7 minutes for my Scottish breakfast tea. It was probably good advice, but since I tend to load it up with cream and a bit of sugar, I could handle the extra tannins that result from steeping for about 4-5 minutes.Good cup of tea. Not entirely sure if I'm ready to give up my Scottish breakfast tea, but it's good to bring other stuff into the rotation to keep mornings interesting.

Husband loves this. Has gotten a few times. Very good tea.

Good British tea

This is my go-to tea. Tastes great, full bodied. I'm from the UK so happy to get this in the US.

I love being able to get one of my favorite teas in a zero waste setup. With this I can just use my refillable tea ball rather than throwing out tea bags every time I have a cup.

Good morning tea. Speedy shipping.

I have been very happily drinking this tea made into iced tea for years. I hughly recommend it

For my step mom from England and family. Love it

This is, for my taste, the best tea I have ever had. It lacks that astringency some other teas have....Love it!

This English tea is hard to find. I've been buying it for years.

Less wasteful, tastes authentic. What's not to love?

Love it

I can’t explain what it is but I like the mellow taste

A taste of home for me

I've tried other loose tea from the UK but keep coming back to PG Tips for the taste

I drink a lot of black tea, and this is my very favorite. The loose leaf tea isn't powdery which is nice.
