I don't know who gave me a little tin of this syrup. But it was heaven, absolutely delish.
So on a late sleepy ordering spree I trached it down. Now I'm Telling everyone about it.

Lyles Golden Syrup has a myriad of uses in our household, and the product we have received from British Food Supplies has amply met our expectations. Equally as good has been the way British Food Supplies has packaged the product for delivery with not a single tin damaged on receipt. Wonderful for Pecan Pie!

This was an amazing filling for my homemade pecan pie, it has a taste like butterscotch and caramel! very yummy even by itself! The packaging was a bonus since now im going to use it to store dry teas leaves!Absolutely love and this is my new go to!

Great Flavor!

I purchased some Black Treacle from this company for a bread recipe a while ago and it was great so I decided to give this syrup a try. I have used it numerous times in place of honey in my bread baking with good results. That said I have not used it on pancakes or waffles yet but I have tasted it in small amounts and it would work well for that IMO. The can is hard to pour from and you MUST clean the edges of the lid and the can before closing it back up or it will adhere together and make getting it off the next time you use it a real challenge. Good product overall and I will purchase it again.

I tasted this syrup as a child in the 1970s in Jamaica. I never forgot the taste. It’s made in the UK. I didn’t want to find a local British store, so decided to see if Verfied has it. Well, they did, the syrup tastes just as good as when I was a child. Absolutely my favorite, especially on pancakes. Try it!
