Fluffy light gluten free flour. Very hard thing to find. Love! Wish it wasn’t so expensive though

I used it to make an apple cake that I had made before with a flour that was gluten-free with zanthm gum that never turned out right. so I used this flour and used 2 different recipes together and had a perfect apple walnut cake.

I have folks I bake for that are gluten intolerant, so I've been trying to find a 1:1 ratio GF AP flour. I have tried several brands and have been unhappy with the texture of finished products. This flour, unfortunately, is no different. Finished products (think chocolate chip cookies) are VERY crumbly and have a weird tongue texture. The bag it arrives in allows for a little squeeze of the flour and it even sounds wrong. Sort of like walking on very powdery snow...a little crunchy sound, whereas regular flour is soundless in packaging. And the worst part of it all is that I cannot return it as it's ineligible for returns (which I get, but still....) If texture isn't a thing for you, then I'm sure this is as good as the next GF flour, but for me, I guess the search continues. Be well, y'all.

My favorite new gluten free cookbook is Baked to Perfection by Katarina Cermelj. Since she is from the UK, she uses this flour regularly. Thought I would give her recipes the best chance for success by using the same flour she uses. Works great. Plan to make the same recipes with more readily available flour and see if there is a difference. This was pricey, but not outrageous for gluten-free flour blends.

Good, no difference with the regular baking powder. I am happy with it.

Goes well with plenty of recipes. Not easy accessible at shop. Great value for money.

Have tried a few gluten-free substitutes over the years. Can be a bit of a minefield when you find conflicting information on different websites.This is a blend of several grains, designed to be a direct 1:1 substitute for ordinary wheat flour. When I tasted the cake batter, the flour gave it an unpleasantly gritty texture. However, the cupcakes were incredibly light and tender once baked, with no prominent flavours from the flour (though I was making red velvet so this may have been disguised by the mild cocoa flavour).Will be trying this with several different recipes in future, but very happy so far!

In these unprecedented times it became really difficult to get gluten free flour so I was pleased to find I could get this from Verified. I have used this flour before for all sorts of baking and even making chapaties. If you are gluten free I would recommend this flour as you can substitute it in normal recipes with minimal tweaks for lovely results

I love Doves gluten flour, however a little pricey on Verified.I can get this cheaper but due to Covid-19 crisis no flour in the stores.Only nowBut still worth it.
