What makes this British Food Supplies Assam Tea special for a morning brew?

Our Assam Tea is a single-origin, robust black tea sourced from premium estates in Assam, India. It's renowned for its distinctive malty flavor and rich, deep color, making it the quintessential choice for a strong, invigorating breakfast tea. It's the perfect way to start your day with authentic British tea tradition.

Is this Assam Tea suitable for drinking with milk, and how should I brew it for the best taste?

Absolutely! The robust and malty character of our Assam Tea stands up beautifully to milk and a touch of sugar, creating a classic, satisfying cuppa. For the best flavor, we recommend brewing loose leaf with boiling water (around 95-100°C) for 3-5 minutes, or using our tea bags for a convenient 3-4 minute steep. Adjust steeping time to your personal preference for strength.

What is the difference between the loose leaf and tea bag versions of your Assam Tea?

Both our loose leaf and tea bag options feature the same high-quality, single-origin Assam tea, delivering that signature robust and malty flavor. The loose leaf version allows tea leaves to fully expand, potentially releasing a more nuanced and full-bodied flavor profile, and is preferred by many tea enthusiasts. Our tea bags offer the same authentic taste with ultimate convenience for a quick, quality brew anytime.
